STBtheDon is a rapper out of Kansas City, Missouri. Before the music, there was basketball — a New York era spent competing, studying East Coast cadences up close, and learning the kind of discipline that repetition builds. When he came back to Kansas City, he brought that work ethic straight into the booth.
In early 2020, in a loft at 10th & Grand in downtown KC, he co-founded Live By The Bag with producer ConorChillOut, TS Shaad, and Mighty Casual. While the industry shut down during lockdown, LBTB locked in — recording three full collaborative albums and treating studio sessions like practice reps. The 10,000-hour rule, applied to bars.
That's the mission statement. The catalog backs it up: Project Home (2021) set the foundation with an atmospheric, old-school hybrid sound. Diamond Scars (2022) went darker and more personal. Then came the era that named him — Nascar Core (2024) and Nascar Core Deluxe (2025), where speed became the metaphor: high-tempo, kinetic, built on racing motifs and relentless forward motion. Nascar Jesus was born. The Chasing Ghost EP (2025) showed the other gear — sparse, melodic, late-night. And in 2025, Live By The Bag finally dropped the group album five years in the making.
On the collaboration "Under Pressure" with Current, Stereo Stickman praised the record's "vocal passion" and its balance of intensity against a dreamy, delicate soundscape.
From Duff Radio interviews and live song debuts to DIY shows in Westport, STBtheDon has built everything independent — no label, no shortcuts, just genuine relationships and a catalog that keeps growing. RandyWorld isn't a brand. It's the world he's been building since day one.
